Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible... Help!?
One moment I was able to use Firefox just fine and the next, I'm getting a pop up message:
Title: Missing Profile: Message: Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. it may be missing or inaccessible.
I cannot open firefox at all and I'm at a loss of what to do. I can't even troubleshoot firefox because firefox is trying to open but it can't.
What I believe happened was that firefox was in the middle of updating/trying to open in safe mode and somehow got interrupted. I have been looking around online trying to find a solution and so far I've been coming up short and any help would be appreciated!
I have Windows 7.
Thanks!

Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile.

I'm going to assume I don't have one because I haven't been able to find it.
Hello, press Windows key+R to open the Run box, and then type:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox
then click OK to open the file, the profile.ini file is a plain-text file, after you delete the file (as amitshree correct said above) then see :

thank you

Note deleting profiles..ini forces Firefox to create a new profile.
The profile manager gives you better control over what happens. The profile manager actually works by modifying the profiles.ini file.
The profiles.ini file may be edited directly but I would strongly advise against that unless you know exactly what you are doing because you could break Firefox.
