Java7 and Java6 will not work opening pogo games on firefox, but works perfectly for IE, what can I do to fix this issue?
Java will not work on the computer all of a sudden. Now when I go to open a Pogo game room up i get a Mozilla red lego piece in the corner saying "Some plug ins have been De-activated for your safety, in the box will be "Java (TM) platform SE 6 U". I have removed Java7 and reloaded it, after that not working found Java6 and loaded and reloaded it and it is not working.
Now after 3 minutes of the room not loading Pogo will give me the error message of
Java Not Found or Not Working
Explanation: This error means Java (one of the technologies built into most browsers) is not working correctly on your browser.
You must have Java installed on your computer in order to run Pogo games, and it must be functioning properly. Either you don't have Java installed yet, or the Web browser you're currently using doesn't support Java or you have Java (or Javascript) disabled in your browser.
How to Fix the Problem: Java is a free download that is required to play Pogo games. Not all computers come with Java pre-installed.
If you haven't played Pogo games before and are getting this error, you probably just need to install Java on your computer. For instructions on installing Java for your operating system and browser click here.
If you believe Java might be installed but disabled for your browser, please be sure to enable the plugin for your browser. If you need help, click here.
If you already have Java installed and it is not disabled, your Java may be out-of-date or no longer working. In that case, your Java might need to be upgraded or reinstalled. If you need help, click here.
I have done the click here in last sentence and all it wants me to do is download Java7 which was the first reason it was not working.
Hopefully I have explained this well enough, from Mozilla this is what I get BUT if I go to Internet Explorer (which I HATE) the Java6 and Java7 work perfectly fine. So apparently the Java is downloaded correctly I just can not get it to play nicely with Mozilla and that is my main goal.
EA games help page has gone through it all with me and have proven over and over (after 1 hour sessions, 45 waits for them) Java is working on my computer perfectly with IE just not on Firefox and with the rural situation I have become dependent on Mozilla because of the no fiber optics here it has been my best and only source of successfully using the internet here in the far out part of the country.

Oracle has released a Java 7 Update 11 to address security vulnerabilities and you should update to that version.

Java (apparently versions 4-7) have a serious security flaw that is being exploited to steal users personal and banking information and may have other serious security ramifications. Even Homeland Security has recommended that all users disable Java in their browsers. Apparently Microsoft has not gotten around to disabling Java like Mozilla/Firefox, Apple and others have done. I knew this to be the reason, I am looking for a solution so I can go and play Pogo games that use Java. It has even been expressed on the news and on several sites and is also posted on Pogo as the issue, but there is a way to play Java games and be safe and I am pursuing that avenue, not information on why it is not working.

If you know that method/way, please describe it in detail or post a link to where you found that information. Thanks.
I surely will and thank you for trying to help, the only solution is not to give up trying at this point and I am not giving up yet. Also if I can find the path of discovering how to achieve it I will want others to have that information also. Sorry if i can actoss snippy, I need my Pogo fix and all the frustrations getting to it has brought on a migraine and I should have been more careful because you do not bite the hand that feeds you or could create the gold key to fixing the problem. Thank you again!
According to the More system details next to your initial posting you have the Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_38 for Mozilla browsers installed and activated in Firefox.
According to Pogo Help, that 1.6.0_38 plugin is recommended as an alternative to 1.7.0.

Yes sir, this is the first place I started in my quest on trying to get firefox to open the games in Pogo. I had followed the directions it gave numerous times, at least 5 or more times. Then I went to EA support and actually chatted with techs there 3 times because I have had no success. The Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_38 works and has no problems when I use other browser IE but because of so many issues of viruses and security problems (also other issues) from living in a very rural area and not having fiber optic internet services offered.
(it is 5 miles of fiber optics from larger town, then 10 miles of no fiber optics but old technology bell wire and then 5 miles to town. It returns to fiber optics which causes unusual and unstable problems beyond the normal spectrum of most internet uses.)
Because of Mozilla I have not had any breaches in security since I have introduced it to my system or systems over the last six years. this is the reason I am so driven to find a way to get back to my normal routine.

According to this bug on the Oracle site http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=8005410 , the problem occurs because their installer did not properly recognize prior Java versions and is compounded by a problem with systems having the JavaFX stand-alone application installed.
So, if you see JavaFX in your list of installed programs (Windows: Control Panel), remove it. It might also be best to remove all Java from your system before installing the new Java.
I would recommend JavaRa to uninstall all previous Java from your system, but, sadly, it has not been updated since October 2012 and does not include and will not find more recent versions of Java files and/or registry keys.
Oracle has released Java 7 update 11 to address the vulnerability recently recognized in Java 7 update 10 and some prior versions. Java 6 update 38 was not updated; support for the Java 6 versions ends in February 2013.
