I have been have trouble with new pages opening that I haven't asked for. Now porn sites are opening and this has to STOP. These are very XXX-rated and I don't every want to see one again. I click on a blank spot on the page I am on in firefox and another window opens. I haven't clicked on any links to lead me to the new pages or windows. I have pop-up blocker on but it doesn't stop the extra pages from opening. The last thing I want to see is porn. I am very, very frustrated with FireFox.

this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally or don't know what purpose they serve etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and do a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and/or a different tool like the free version of malwarebytes.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
