Firefox crashes on start
Last night, after running reliably for years, Firefox would not start and resulted in the crash reporter. I tried uninstalling Firefox and doing a clean install several times. I tried various anti virus and spyware tools as well as windows update. I am running Firefox on 3 other machines configured very similarly without trouble.

I have already tried the steps listed in the links provided. Firefox will not start in safe mode. I have uninstalled it and removed the Mozilla/Firefox folder then rebooted. The only thing I can think of is that the affected machine had IE8 auto installed in it while the other three machines did not. I rolled back to IE6 successfully, but maybe not so.
Can you bring up the Profile Manager to either run Firefox in Offline mode or create a new profile to see if that helps?
I cannot bring up the profile manager and I have no profiles since I deleted them during my attempt at a clean installation.
