Since the latest download from Firefox, everything is slower, a lot slower, like dial-up, and I have cable. When I X out of Firefox, then want to get back on, warning box says it's already running but not responding, never got that before.

I am not happy, not use to waiting for things to come up.

I want that latest removed and go back to what was before, at least I had no access problems.

And another which has been bugging me since I switched to Firefox, when I Google anything, it sends me to another search engine, then another, and so on.....so frustrating.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I just went back to Internet Explorer, working fine and 10 times quicker than Firefox.
