The default homepage for firefox 4 (About:home) does not function whatsovever, and all other workarounds have not worked.
The search bar does nothing, and there is a blank box below the search bar which also does not function. The dom.storage.enabled workaround has not worked. Please reply ASAP!

Even in Safe Mode it doesn't work so can't be Add-On related?
Screen shot of error console also added - in case it helps.

I found the solution! If you don't mind losing your add-ons, bookmarks, history, (etc.), then go to "start", then click on "Run..." and type in this command firefox -profilemanager Now, delete the default profile and then create a new profile and ta-daa! About:home should work.
I will update this post if I find a way to keep the bookmarks, history, add-ons, (etc.)

That can happen when the DOM storage (localStorage) is disabled when the Firefox Profile is updated.
