I can't access Firefox. Saying there is a Secure Connection Failure. I can't browse. How do I fix it?

Since the new patch update, my connection to my games was slow at first. Maybe not even load the game. Just gives me an error msg. Now, I get a message after I click to enter saying that I need to make sure something is read/write. Then I click ok, I get into Firefox and it says:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.facebook.com.

Can't connect securely because the SSL protocol has been disabled.

(Error code: ssl_error_ssl_disabled)

I checked it all out. Everything is exactly as it should be. I have not made any changes. This started last night. Any other suggestions?

Ok, I did the dowload of version 4. I get this message still when I first click on Firefox: 'Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features. 'Then is says Ok on the bottom and when I hit Ok, it goes into Firefox, and it takes me to my homepage. It won't let me log into Facebook. I can see my e-mail but I cannot respond to it. I have to use Internet Explorer.
