How do I erase browser history for all sites visited not just today's?
I have already gone to tools, options, privacy, clear everything, clicked all boxes, clicked ok; tools, options, advanced, clear cache, etc--I've tried it all. I can still see the sites I've visited this week, month, year, etc. and they still appear when I type in any letter into the address bar.
I'm going to soon be using this computer in my 3rd grade classroom on a Promethean Board... I don't want my students to see awkwardfamilyphoto.com pop up and then get off on a tangent or God forbid, anything racier than that.
Please help! I like Firefox, but if I can't delete my current browser history, I'm going to have to switch to a different browser for the sake of keeping my students on task.

Is it history or bookmarks, since both may show when typing in the URL/Location bar?

Update Java. A new version of Java has recently been released.

D0wnload CCleaner by Piriform at http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner then run the application. Be sure to only select the file types you wish to be deleted because this application is very indiscriminate. It will erase everything if you aren't sure to check first.
My suggestion is to only check the history information under the Firefox application to ensure you don't erase anything you don't want erased. This will get rid of all your history.

Also, don't know if you tried Ctrl + Shift + Del then select "Everything" from the Drop-Down Menu to clear all or not, but if you have my previous post will do the trick. Make sure you click all the boxes there to include "Site Preferences." ;)
