🌐 Enhance Your Web Browsing Experience! Share Your Top Firefox Tips and Tricks
Hi everyone! 👋
I hope you’re all enjoying browsing with Firefox. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s incredible how many cool features and settings are available to make browsing safer, faster, and more enjoyable. I thought it would be great to share our favorite tips and tricks with each other!
Here are a few of my favorites to kick things off:
Boost Privacy with Enhanced Tracking Protection 🔒 Did you know Firefox has a built-in feature to protect your privacy? Under "Privacy & Security" in the settings, you can turn on Enhanced Tracking Protection, which blocks third-party trackers and unwanted cookies. It’s a quick setting that gives extra peace of mind!
Organize Tabs with Simple Shortcuts 📑 I’m always juggling multiple tabs, so using keyboard shortcuts has been a lifesaver! Try pressing Ctrl + Shift + E (or Cmd + Shift + E on a Mac) to get a quick overview of all open tabs. You can then jump between them effortlessly.
Get Faster Browsing with Pocket Integration 🧳 Ever see a cool article but don’t have time to read it? Just save it to Pocket, which is integrated with Firefox! It’s perfect for building a collection of things to read later, even offline.
What are your go-to Firefox hacks? I’d love to learn how others are using Firefox to make their browsing even better. Whether it's an add-on you love, a keyboard shortcut, or a cool setting, please share below!
Happy browsing,

A couple of things in about:config I always change:—
browser.backspace_action
to 0 so if the cursor isn't in a box to type in pressing the backspace key goes back to the previously displayed page.
layout.spellcheckDefault
to 2 so spell checking works in single-line boxes.
browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled
to false to get rid of the big bubbles when hovering on a tab.
I also move the find bar to the top with Custom CSS:—
/* Move Find bar to top of screen */
.browserContainer > findbar {
order: -1 !important;
border-top: none !important;
}
