Mozilla Crash Reporter keeps popping up when Firefox is not even running
Got a problem on two separate computers: Mozilla Crash Reporter keeps popping up when Firefox is not even running. I'm guessing that my antivirus avast is interfering with the update service. I'm I right or wrong? Otherwise, does anyone know how to interpret this? This is the report:

Did you already try disabling Avast and rebooting the computer? Are you running a pro or home version of windows?

Yes, this looks like a problem with the background update agent (BUA) and could be caused by your security software interfering.
BackgroundTaskMode: 1 BackgroundTaskName: backgroundupdate
You can possibly disable this agent to test this. The BUA is controlled by these prefs on the about:config page.
app.update.background.enabled app.update.background.scheduling.enabled
Firefox updated again since the last incident and the problem seems to have gone away. Thank you for the responses otherwise. I'll keep this information handy just in case.
