Drag and Drop Not Working in Outlook (Browser Version) When Using Firefox
Within the past week I have recently started having a problem where I can no longer drag and drop images, documents, files, etc from my computer directly onto the browser screen when using Outlook through a Mozilla Firefox browser. When I try to attach anything my cursor will turn into a red circle with a slash through it letting me know that I am not allowed to drag and drop. I have cleared the cache/ cookies, I have refreshed my Mozilla Firefox installation, and I have reinstalled my Mozilla Firefox software.
I have tried dragging and dropping using other browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome with no issues. The issue seems to be specific to Mozilla Firefox. Right before this problem occurred, my Firefox session crashed and I had to restart it. Once it was restarted this problem showed up. I have been reading through support forums on here and on Microsoft's website to see if anyone has had a similar issue, but I can't really find anything that is working for me.
If anyone has a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated.

I am using the Office 365 browser version of Outlook. This version of Outlook wasn't even out when that old bug came out. I have been using Outlook through a browser for years with no issues. This issue just popped up last week.
I tried going through the information presented in the link that you shared, but a lot of it is JAVA script and HTML code specific type stuff.
Right. I can replicate the same issue in Linux and Windows, even in old ESR version. see screenshot May need to add your voice to the issue, because I can't drag-n-drop any type of file in Web Outlook. I've been with Outlook or Hotmail from the start and have never even tried to drag and drop.

That is exactly the issue that I am having. I have been able to drag and drop when using Mozilla Firefox for years until last week. I am not sure what has changed.
