Hello. I've been having issues with downloading any type of file from Google Drive on Firefox. The issues I'm experiencing directly match what is mentioned in [support article] but this user uses Windows. 'I'm getting this problem on Arch Linux instead. Outside of Linux, I do not experience any issues with downloads from Google Drive.

So far, I've tried all the methods; From downloading from a private window, to disabling cookies -- I've even completely disabled any protection settings and add-ons such as uBlock Origin/DDG, but also re-installing Firefox. In the latter it kept my data, so it might not have been a fresh re-install.

What could be the cause of this problem? This issue does not seem to happen on other browsers. While I can use that as a workaround, I'd like to know the cause to prevent it from happening in the future.

Thanks!

You need to edit the end of the link you provided. Try downloading another copy of Firefox and run it from the folder. Do not sign into your Firefox account and see if you have the same issue.

I cannot replicate the issue using my distro version or a separate copy of Firefox 93. see screenshot
