I've been using FF on Desktop and Android for many years and do appreciate all the hard work Mozilla puts into FF. That said, like Soooo many others who have commented on 79.0.5 I think it was released way too prematurely. So much broken, so much that was loved gone. My immediate problem has to do with Bookmarks. In the previous version it was harder than it should have been to create a bookmark and place it in a subfolder. You had to save it then edit it to change from the root of Bookmarks to a subfolder if desired. This was irritating enough but NOW after saving it when I try to edit the new bookmark to move it to a subfolder in my Mobile Bookmarks folder I am taken to my Desktop Bookmarks folder. No option to find my Mobile Bookmarks folder. Worse yet, the Desktop Bookmarks folder is fully expanded, all subfolders exposed. I have hundreds, if not thousands of bookmarks in my Desktop Bookmarks folder. Fully expanding this by default is a disaster. Now, I'm not above noting the possibility I'm just doing something stupid here and have missed a "new and better" way Mozilla came up with doing bookmarks. If that's the case please do enlighten this poor soul. If this is indeed yet another bug in this beta that shouldn't have been released yet please consider backing up, restoring the previous build and fixing 79.0.5 before re-releasing it. I've been forced to begin evaluating MS Edge for Android (ew, I know) in case Mozilla can't realize the error in their ways. Also, other thoughts... Eliminating entering a Primary Password should be optional, not automatic. Please give us a checkbox on that option. Collections - I must be too old to see what the advantage is. Isn't this what Bookmark subfolders are for? Let us remove Collections from the top page if we choose not to clutter that screen up with unused functions. The disappearing address bar - Let us lock it in place if we want. I don't like disappearing anything. Didn't like that option in Windows with the Taskbar, either. Thanks for listening to the rant.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Seburo, Thanks for responding. I was under the mistaken impression that Developers worked this forum, as well as users. I'll submit feedback in the proper channel. I'd still like to hear from any other users who may have noticed the issue I'm experiencing with bookmarks.
