I have an add-on which says it's enabled but is not running. Firefox says it's not installed when it is and is operating normally

The add-on is a password manager which should be automatically logging me into various websites. But with the icon greyed out and the tiny pop-up saying that my app is not installed, I'm back to using my old standby for passwords. Firefox does indeed have many of the necessary passwords in it's collection but not all by any means. The app developer has already had me check a few things but none worked. The same app works nicely in Chrome.

I assume that you already have the desktop app: How to install Sticky Password on Windows

And have tried: Installing the Sticky Password extension for Firefox on Windows

Have you tried to add the extension from Firefox Add-ons? Sticky Password manager & safe

nk you for trying,Well, yes and no. It did install Sticky Password but in doing so I had to close all the windows. Then it proceeded to install Firefox in an older version, V - 9.0, with most of my existing extensions missing. Which is where the problem began. It started with an update of Foxfire which did the same trick, updated Firefox and then reinstalled Sticky Password and reverted back to to Version 69.0 - with the extensions missing. Both times, if I click on the taskbar Firefox icon, the new version comes up with the same problem, app enabled but greyed out. This time, when V-69 was there, it had a note to update Firefox which did nothing. I assume that it saw that V. 70.0 was already there and running and went back to sleep. Some sort of bug between Sticky Password and Firefox I would assume but... However, thank you for trying.
