Reading Boston Globe ePaper (html5) slow to render/respond
Reading the Boston Globe ePaper causes the tab to temporarily freeze when one navigates (moves/zooms). This is easy to reproduce on a Surface Pro using touch and does not occur in IE and Chrome. This occurs also in the Nightly build fix indicated by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1446904. This also occurs in safe mode.
The ePaper (perhaps there is a free sample) can be found via:

I am sure this is a bug. Could someone please file this bug in the proper section (probably under Core):

If you have a bug, file a bug report. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ Bug Writing Guidelines : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines
Hi, please do this before posting a bug report as you are running adblock SAFE MODE
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?
The original message indicated I tried this in safe mode. I will attempt to file this bug.

This bug continues to be present in the Beta channel. Could someone please file this bug in the proper place? The op describes the issue and is easily reproduced under the stated hardware/software configuration.
I continue to use IE for the ePaper with no issues whatsoever.
I can live without Firefox addressing the issue but I am just trying to be a good citizen here.
A good measure is not to use beta Browser for your everyday task unless your testing and fixing code issues.
