Can't copy certain text on an inhouse website

After a recent Firefox update, I can't seem to copy text from a certain area of an in-house website. Unfortunately, since it's an in-house website, I can't give a way to replicate the issue. The issue persists for my coworkers. It works in Chrome. I've tried Ctrl+C and right clicking, and it does not work. I have reinstalled and used private mode and does not work. I have also tried changing dom.webcomponents.enabled and dom.webcomponents.shadowdom.enabled to true.

The text is surrounded by a <slot> tag. If I remove the tag, copying works. I don't think specifically the <slot> tag is the problem, but the problem should be whatever is being associated with the <slot> in the website. I guess I could change the website to remove the <slot> tags. Everything was fine before the update, which is why I am asking if maybe there's a bug or something overlooked in the update.

EDIT: After further testing, if I left click and select the exact text, I am able to copy. Whereas, if I triple click to get all of the text, it does not work.

I still have a problem with trying to copy with triple clicking the text.

There can be several reasons for this.

>The text is a picture, not text >Something is covering the text >The web page does not allow it

Have you tried a single click, and then marking what you want?

You can check in the Inspector whether that element has a no-select attribute or CSS property.

Can you attach a screenshot of the Inspector with this container? Note that you can open the Inspector as a standalone window.

Note that you can possibly copy this text from the left pane of the Inspector. If necessary then use Edit as HTML in the right-click context menu or one of the items in the Copy sub menu.
