when will the problems with the new firefox download be fixed?
It is excessively slow and will not work with Yahoo barely at all. The Not Responding message comes up even more now with the upgrade. Is anyone working on these problems? Is there any way to get back the old Firefox until this upgrade works correctly? Thanks.

...wasn't really asking for "all the information" on your computer in the first place, just those bits which might help in troubleshoot/diagnose the issue. you're of course totally free in how much you want to share.
a quick troubleshooting step you could do on your own is to reset firefox to the default state and see if this helps with your hangs: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

hi, thanks for reporting this. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there.
if yes, can you please copy & paste this whole section into a reply in the forum and see if the following fixes the performance problem: go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > privacy & security panel and under permissions check the setting to prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.
Sorry, but I have no idea who you are. Why would I send you all the information in my computer? Anyway, I tried the processes you suggested and it did not fix the problem. Thank you for your response.

It didn't make things better to refresh. Now I can't get in to Firefox and it took me about 15 minutes for the Yahoo email account to open up so I could reply. Not very computer literate and hesitant to make a mistake. I would send you the info you originally requested except I can't get in to Firefox since I used your suggestion to refresh it. If I can get it back, I'll send info.
