After following your instructions, why can't I activate the archive?
I have tried religiously and repeatedly to execute all of the instructions you offer for the installation and activation of the Archive feature in my three Email accounts but to no avail. Do I need to re-install Thunderbird? I am running Windows 7 64 PRO but I don't see how the OS should make any difference. I can't find the Archive icon. Is that part of the problem?
Please give me some suggestions on how to deal with this situation!

have you tried selecting a mail and pressing A that will archive it, and create the relevant archive folders if they do not exist.
