Do you get any error message or do you just get a blank (empty) window?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Try adjusting the http.response.timeout setting. In version 37 it is set to 300 (5 minutes). Increasing it to something much larger should help.
1) First open a New Tab 2) In the URL BOX type about:config
(Bookmark this tab also in your Mozilla Bookmark folder)
3) In the Search Bat at the top of that tab type in http.response.timeout 4) Right click on the section called Value with 300 below it 5) A Drop down box appears select modify 6) Change the 300 to 30000 (30,000 No comma)
How long does it take before you get this error message?
