I'm using Windows 7. When I use Firefox as my browser, it gets stuck 'transferring data from' and 'waiting for' sc1.checkpoint.com. The status window on bottom left just flashes back and forth and green circle spins. If I hit the x at the end of the url window, it stops and the page works just fine EXCEPT when I'm trying to go to a secure site that requires a password entered on a second page. Then, it fails to bring up the secured site, and just spins and spins.

I do not have this problem on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Thought Mozilla might want to know, in case it is an issue you can deal with. My Internet provider (Exede) says that since I am getting to some sites ok, it isn't their issue--even though they can re-set the modem from their end and it lasts for a day or two.

So for now I'm going to make this old brain learn a new browser. But I hate to say bye-bye to Mozilla.

Hi newbie63, On a different network I cannot reach sc1.checkpoint.com either, it redirects to a maintenance.html page when I test it on Firefox. For that site specifically, it may be only available on your network, or I chose the wrong day to test it.

Firefox does have a cache as well and instructions for how clear it is linked here: How to clear the Firefox cache

Oh, after you said if you are redirected to a new page for a login page and it never completes, is it possible you have changed the redirect setting?

To change: Try Firefox Button (or Tools) → Options → |Advanced| → Accessibility → [] Warn me when Websites try to redirect or reload the page (Wording and exact menu options may differ somewhat)

Does this fix the redirect issue?
