How do I stop Firefox from taking screen shots of my private bank ledger and other financial information. I do not ever want Firefox to take screen shots and put them in tiles. I am not talking about letting you take this information by disregarding my wishes and then hiding it. I don't want you taking screen shots of anything I do anywhere. What are my options.

Do the following:

  • Update to Firefox 29 Update Firefox to the latest release
  • Turn off the new tab tiles by opening a new tab, and pressing the small icon in the upper right hand corner of the page that looks like 9 tiny boxes.

Will this permanently disable all screen shots or is this something I would have to do everytime I open Firefox? Will Firefox still be taking the screen shots and just not displaying them?

This disables the feature forever

Thank You. At least you are willing to do that much. Google tiles just stalk a person.
