Try Knittinparadise.com It is a list of posts. I click on the post, Firefox pops up and tells me it saved mew from going to another page. I read the post. Sometimes it has another url for a pattern or a picture) I go there Firefox again. I return to post, Firefox again. I return to list. For every page I get firefox and the page jumps down to accommodate it and back up when it closes giving me a royal headache. If I check allow it doesn't change pages and Firefox repeats on every page. This is not the only site it happens on but it illustrates the problem quickly. site I

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

Click on Firefox (in the left hand corner), then select the Preferences button. Go to the Advanced tab in the new window. In the General tab, uncheck Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

I found it under the tools tab on the menu bar. The Firefox button just gave me move. minimize etc. Thanks though. Your answer told me it was there somewhere and what to do when I found it. I just hadn't looked far enough. Thanks again. Lee
