Webroot seems to work quite well and I have tried to find a way to ask them WTF but I am constantly being blocked with a dire warning.

For your information that may be helpful to others, I got a notice seeming to come from Firefox to download something or other. that was what was blocked apparently - and blocked and blocked.... I may made the egregious error of choosing an option that would seemingly tell me where the virus[whatever?] came from. TIA.

Hi, Webroot is not supported by Firefox and does not even have a page in the Extensions and add-ons section. Please visit Webroot support page if can find it. So not a Firefox issue, Webroot's.

So if anything 1 is Firefox never pops up anything to download ever. It may slide out a small thing saying a update is ready to install but never anything else.

2, do not chase viruses.
