I'm getting junk mail from a bank and their unsubscribe option doesn't work. I've spoken to them about this and nothing happens. So I'd like to set up a message filter to automatically forward their junk mail to an email address I have for them with a message explaining why I am doing this. I can set up a template and send this but it always goes to the email that the junk mail was sent from. I can enter email addresses in the template but they seem to be ignored.

How can I set up a filter to forward the junk mails to a third email address with a message from me?

Thanks

First - are you certain that the emails you receive really are from the bank and not someone spamming you with an email look-a-like which has dubious links. I get loads of those.

Second - do not start sending auto responses because if it is from the bank, those emails are often 'no-reply' so they will just go to Spam or not get delivered. In the end your IP address or email address could end up being flagged and reported as sending spam and then you could run into difficulties in sending mail.

Just make sure your Junk controls are set up correctly and get those emails auto sent to your 'Junk' folder and ignore them.

They're definitely genuine, I think they are just unable to remove me from their email list. I've repeatedly asked them to stop sending me these and even closed down my (dormant) account with them, but to no avail.

I suppose I could just ignore them but I often have to check my spam folder and I'm sick of it being cluttered with these emails. You say I could be reported as sending spam if I send auto replies. How can I report them as sending spam?
