Firefox browser briefly showed a notification that a different domain was being used in the cookie opt-out process during a secure session on my bank's website. That domain is evidon.com. Does Firefox use Evidon sofware?

Not Firefox, your bank uses this company. If you got to evidon.com, it translates to https://www.crownpeak.com/products/privacy-consent-management Not a browser issue. You mentioned opt-out and it appears that this company has a relationship with your bank.
