I have sent an T-bird e-mail to a friend in USA, and this e-mail includes Pictures. At the bottom of the screen, was a notice about 'attachments'. What is T-bird trying to tell me?

I sent an e-mail to the USA which contained many pictures that were to be included. However at the bottom of the screen was a very small notice about 'attachments'. What was T-bird trying to tell me? Were all the pictures in my e-mail, also sent to the recipient in the USA? Or did they get left behind? If T-bird separated the Pictures from my e-mail, what would be the best way to see to it that the pictures get reunited with my e-mail and delivered to the recipient in America?

As we don't know the actual text which was printed, I have to guess. If you use words which might indicate that you are sending attachments, then Thunderbird will remind you that you might want to add attachments to the letter. This is just a reminder, not an error, so most likely your e-mail was sent just fine.

But to be sure, you might check your outgoing mail, if the pictures are still there, you can be quite sure.
