I have turned on 2FA for Firefox sync, but i now need to transfer my authenticator to another device.

There is no option to add devices which would make this much easier.

There is the option to disable 2fa, however nothing happens when you click on the disable button (i have tried from different devices).

How can I transfer my sync 2fa to another device?

Thanks for answering. Firstly 2FA - two factor authentication. It's an absolute must for syncing this kind of data. Its only on release to a few users unless you add it...please Google it and turn on for as many sites/apps as possible...just some free advice.

Secondly, I solved the problem by looking at the logs as you suggested, got bored and then just creating a new Firefox profile with no add ons let me disable it from there.

Thanks anyway Mr.Brit

Hi, 1st of all have no idea what a 2FA is. Firefox Support Volunteers do not have access to any of the Sync Data. Or files or...

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply. Please set at the bottom of the form to keep for a Week from only keep for a day. https://pastebin.mozilla.org/
