Today, Firefox decided to get weird from one minute to the next in the middle of browsing. I was able to fix some issues like the Ctrl-key shrinking everything on the website by itself and the Shift-key acting as Jump Back a Page in the about:config, but this one has me stumped.

See, when a website's width is larger than my window's width, Firefox automatically scrolls to the right. I can do this right now, on this very website, by making my browser window slimmer. If there's a scroll bar at the bottom, Firefox will scroll it. All the way. It stops when my mouse it outside of the window though, so I'm sure it's a very similar problem to the ones above but which command am I looking for?

As I was typing this, I found another problem that probably has the same roots. When a very long URL is in the URL bar at the top, hovering over it with the mouse makes it also scroll to the end of the URL.

Also, the solution is not disabling auto-scroll in the advanced options. It is already disabled.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
