I am trying to locate older e-mail by using the search function. I am finding the messages I want to access, but when I click on them, up comes the message asking me to donate to Thunderbird, and can't get past that to read the e-mail.

This is not happening with all of the e-mail located using the search function. But it is happening with some of it (the one's I really need to read!)

Any suggestions very welcome for how to get past the donation request message! (I'm using version 52.01)

Thanks for your reply.

Screen shot 1 shows the search request and messages located.

Screen shot 2 shows what happens when I click on "RK-November...:" This gives me a list of 2 messages and the donation screen - if I click on either message, I can read it. So no problem here getting past the donation screen.

Screen shot 3 shows what happens when I click on "Suit 802" - no message is listed - only the support screen.

Screen shot 4 shows the same thing when I click on "FW-903 Renovation" - no message is listed - only the support screen.
