As someone who likes Thunderbird, and helps / answers questions here without being paid (no one here is paid to help with Thunderbird), I will try to forgive your comment about Thunderbird being nothing but trouble. :) On your keyboard, please hold down the Windows key and press the "R" key. In the run box, type: thunderbird.exe Does Thunderbird open? If not, then uninstall Thunderbird. Reboot. Download the [https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/ latest version of Thunderbird] , and install it. Please report back your results!
