Cursor misplaced on opening new tab after recent update
I have Firefox set to always open Google.com when a new tab is opened. Before yesterday's update (Aug 27, 2020) the cursor would appear in the Google search bar on opening a new tab, which is the way I want it. After the update, Google still opens as before, but the cursor is at the from of the address bar instead of the Google search bar. I've tried a couple of things to fix this with no luck. What should I do?

I figured it out. The extension/addon New Tab Override does what I want. Thanks anyway.
