I haven't yet updated our wordpress website to the very latest (Gutenberg) but we're using version 4.9.8.

Firefox will not feature images. I keep getting: user-added image

Google Chrome DOES feature our images. I've gone to the Mozilla help site to address this issue but I'm still having problems and not finding a solution. I've deleted cookies, cache, etc....Nothing seems to be working. I've uploaded in safe mode; I'm using the latest version of Firefox. Nothing is working.

Can anyone assist with (what I believe) is a Wordpress-related problem with Firefox?? Do any files in Wordpress need to be updated in order for Firefox to show images? I've attached an example of the "user-added" image problem. Or is this an actual Firefox browser problem?

Please help. Thank you!

Hi bluesunday, does the image show in the published post or in the preview? In other words, is this problem limited to the editor?

If the problem appears in a published page, can you give an example link? If the problem is limited to the editor, that's obviously not possible.

Here is our general article on image issues, in case you didn't get a chance to review it before: Fix problems that cause images to not show.

You can check the Web Console for error messages and possibly use the Inspector and Network Monitor to check what link Firefox is using for the images.
