Can't SYNC on any device for the last few days
up until Tuesday i was able to sync my bookmarks and stuff on my INSPIRON 14R and INSPIRON 15 laptops... since that day though i cant sync anywhere. i also recently formatted a desktop and installed firefox there and still i cant sync anything...
i tried making a new account to try if i can sync on that and still its not working...
when i check the sync status it just says LAST SYNC JANUARY 1

Hi, this as been referred to a Supervisor. Part of your problem was the format and lost the token. Expect a answer within a couple of days. Thank You.
You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.

I understand that you recently reformatted a desktop computer with Firefox Sync set up on it. However, after adding a new install of Firefox on the reformatted computer, items are not syncing to the profile. Corel, Pkshadow and I am happy to help.
Please do add any logs as corel has suggested.
Just in case, Firefox Sync is not a back up service. This is an often misconception of how other sync services work among other technologies. Do you have access to any profile files before the reformat?
I ask this because, other indications that Firefox sync is actively syncing can be found in timestamps around your history, or bookmarks. Since you see that the last sync was Jan 1 and you have successfully logged into Firefox Sync, can you also confirm if you see any history or bookmarks from your profile before the reformat?
The error logs will give clues to what might be preventing an unsuccessful sync.

i sill cant sync properly on any device except my ipad... the sync on ipad works just fine...
this is the the latest log from my desktop, which was newly reformatted... like i said, i also cant sync from my two laptops
I believe the Norton Antivirus is blocking network connections the Firefox Sync client is trying to make. At least at the end of that particular log.
I have two questions for follow up:
- Does the IPad support iOS 8 or higher?
- Are the ipad and Desktops on the same network?
However, when you reformat the computer with no back up of the local profile, that profile information may no longer be accessible.
the ipad has ios 10.3.3 on it... ive been using norton on all my devices before and ive been able to sync without any problems until this one. im gonna try and disable norton while i sync and see if it fixes the problem...
im on one of my laptops right now... seems my account here was able to sync ealier at 11:32am local time... its now 12:46am... when i try to sync manually, it still doesnt work :(
