Text Lags when Typing in Address Bar
When I type in the address bar, the text that appears is extremely slow and laggy. I can type just fine in a text box on a web page itself but in the address bar the response is so bad that sometimes the order of the characters is mixed up - it is really slow and unusable.
I disabled all suggestions and everything else but it is disappointing because Firefox is so much faster in every other respect. I am running it on an HP Spectre x360 with 16GB of RAM and anIntel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!

thank you so much, it helps to understand. Can you reproduce with another profile? Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles

Hi, do you have a custom theme or installed modules? Try to reproduce in safe mode to check Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. There is no custom theme installed but I do have some extensions enabled (uBlock origin, lastpass). I tried the search bar in safe mode and it was still just as slow unfortunately.

This is on a fresh install of firefox so there are no add-ons, themes, or anything
