Hey,

I have firefox 50.1.0 on ubuntu 16.04 in my two machines (one is work, another is personal). Here's my weird problem, I am not getting notifications from facebook.com and messenger.com from my personal laptop, where as I am getting notifications seamlessly in my work machine. The only difference between both is in my personal machines, I have enabled sync in my personal machine, whereas in work machine not.

Workarounds I tried:

1. I tried uninstalling and installing firefox 2. I have created a new profile and tried 3. deleted firefox data from .mozilla,.cache from my home directory

but nothing worked out...

I even check with two facebook accounts, one in firefox and another in chrome, Chrome is sending notifications, but firefox not, also switched those facebook accounts... nothing works...

Are you using the Firefox version from the repositories of your Ubuntu Linux distribution or the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server?

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

Hey,

I downloaded tar.bz2 file, before running, I even deleted .mozilla and .cache, ran ./firefox from terminal. Same problem, nothing happened... Again I installed firefox from repo, but I found an interesting thing while signing in to sync. You can see the picture, a push notification is displayed.
