Under options, I have "Always use private browsing mode" and "Accept cookies from sites" checked. Every time I go to my banking website, it always asks me a secret security question and if this is a trusted computer. If I disable private browsing mode, it doesn't ask for these. Is there any way I can "always use private browsing mode", but add an exception so that I don't have to answer secret security questions every time I go to my banking website? FYI Every time I go to my banking website, I always have to enter username and password (which I have saved in Firefox) and a PIN (which is not saved), and I have no problems with this. I just want to be able to use Private browsing mode without haveing to answer secret security questions and add my computer as a trusted computer EVERY time I go to my banking website.

That is not possible because in private browsing mode the cookies expire always at the end of the Private Browsing mode session. You will have to access such websites in normal mode if you need to keep such cookies.

In Private Browsing mode you can use cookies just like in regular mode. You can create and use block and allow exceptions that work in normal and in PB mode. PB mode means that nothing is saved to disk, so you can't create cookies that outlast the current session. In PB mode no access is possible to cookies that were created in regular mode and cookies created in PB mode are removed if PB mode is ended or Firefox is closed. In PB mode all cookies are session cookies and expire when Firefox is closed, but you can still block or allow specific cookies based on the default setting.
