Why can´t I have Speed Dials as a start page ?

I have tried to set Speed Dials as my start up page in Firefox, but I can´t see any solution to it ! ?

Main menu > Options (gear wheel) > General tab, 'When Firefox starts:' - set to 'Show my homepage.' Then set 'Home page' to about:newtab > OK
