I have a dual monitor (extended display) setup and 2 Firefox windows open (one for each monitor). When Firefox crashes or is closed unexpectedly, opening it restores the previous session but the order in which the windows are restored is incorrect.

In other words, hovering over the Firefox icon in the taskbar shows 2 window previews open but in the incorrect order; the first window (left window preview) actually points to the right monitor's window and vice versa. As you can imagine this is superbly annoying because when I hover over the left window preview I expect to access the left monitor's window not the other way around!

This is on Windows 10.

For clarity's sake, window preview = taskbar thumbnail preview.
