Passwords stay active after I have signed out
I will sign into my firefox account when on a new computer to access my bookmarks/passwords etc. When I sign out, after I am done using the shared computer, my bookmarks and passwords remain.
I even uninstalled firefox, but when I reinstalled it the next time I used the computer, all of my bookmarks and passwords were again available without signing in.
How do I remove these from the shared computer without deleting my firefox account?

You can use the Profile Manager to delete this profile and remove the files as well (about:profiles won't allow to remove the current profile).
May I suggest: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition
https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-portable-esr Mozilla Firefox ESR, Portable Edition
A fully functional package of Firefox optimized for use on a USB key drive. A specialized launcher will allow most favorite extensions to work as you switch computers.
Firefox Portable is a 3rd-party build. Support is available here: http://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable
You can use sync to share data between profiles. But some data cannot be shared between different Firefox versions and computer systems.
