Cannot drag bookmarks
In the last several days I have been unable to drag any tabs into a folder or other location to turn it into a bookmark. There are workarounds for this but they are much more complicated, inaccurate and time-consuming*. Similarly – I can't drag the folders around in the bar that they live in any longer. I feel as if some major interface change has been brought about, and it makes using the browser much more difficult. Can someone help me with this? I've lost a great deal of functionality and it's very frustrating.
- as an example, I can use the bookmark tab option but then I have to navigate to the general area I want, drop it and then find a way to manually put it exactly where I want it. I used to be able to simply drag a bookmark to the desired location.

I just tried to use the bookmark manager to help me with some of this and I feel like I can't work with folders there, either. Nothing can be dragged - it's like the order of folders is set in stone.
Either I've completely forgotten how Firefox handles this stuff* or it's been changed.
- which is completely possible since I'm dealing with the memory effects of a stroke several months back.

Note that you can't drag folders in the left (folder tree) panel. To drag a folder, you need to open its parent folder in the right panel and make the changes in that panel. You should be able to drag bookmarks and folders in the bookmarks sidebar (Cmd+B).
Thanks for that – very useful information. I think I have an extension conflict. I disabled everything and got my usability back. So I guess now I have to fault-tree the extensions
