Since yesterday all the emails send to my friends inbox show up as a copy of an email she received earlier that day from a reliable sender She doesn't receive the original messages but every message has changed into this message. So when i sent her a test message, she receives again this other same message from that other sender, same time of sending. (so my message is gone and in stead she receives that other one) Sending mail herself seems to go without a problem. We don't know what to do? Should we deinstall thunderbird and install again or is this a known problem/virus and how to solve? Thnx

, sending email goes ok, what to do?.

re :She doesn't receive the original messages

To confirm she has not received your emails sent to her. She would need to logon to the webmail account via a browser to see if those emails are actually being received onto the server.

I'm also assuming she has a pop mail account in Thunderbird.

Logon to webmail account. I'm assuming the emails you sent to her are on the server. It is possible the repeated download of email from known sender is causing a log jam. Delete that repeated downloaded email from the server webmail Inbox folder. Empty the webmail 'Spam' folder.

In Thunderbird click on 'Get Messages'.

Report back on results.
