Annotate PDF's with stylus pen

Hi, Is there a way I can annotate PDF's in Firefox similar to using Edge's "add notes" icon on the toolbar? From what I've read, there isn't a native solution yet, but if you could point me to any third party extensions (I'm having trouble finding one that works) that would be very appreciated. I need at a minimum to be able to draw and highlight on the page using a stylus pen. I would use Firefox for browsing and Edge for annotating PDF's, but I frequently use Firefox's "Take a Screenshot" function (extremely convenient + useful) and after contacting Microsoft support I've learned there's no easy way to achieve the same in Edge.

AFAIK I think the pdf software in firefox is just a basic pdf reader and unless the pdf has options to edit or fill in boxes you can't edit it. You would need something like Adobe Acrobat to edit pdf files that is what I use. As for Edge you will have to give a sample site and let others with Edge see if they can "add notes" as you mentioned to see if that is same or not for them.

Hi FLAID, when you open a PDF in Firefox's built-in PDF Viewer, it is treated as part of the browser and extensions cannot inject features into the viewer.

If you save a PDF and open it in the web app version of the viewer, extensions like translators and highlighters can modify the PDF -- at least until you reload it. I don't know how an annotation extension would work because any changes made in the page are transient.

If you want to experiment with the web app version, you can load it here:

https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html

To view a local PDF in the web app, use the button showing a folder with an up arrow. It's not actually uploading the PDF to Gitub, it's showing it locally in the browser.
