As i wrote, in window Web Browser -> Choose an app I don`t have Firefox, I have only Edge and Internet Explorer

Some Windows 10 users are struggling to change using this method. Use the following method:

In Windows 10 go to Start> Settings> System> Standard Applications> Set Standards for Application. In the window that opens select Firefox and then click Set this program as default followed by Ok.

I did, what Samuel wrote, but still I have problem. Now my system show me, that Firefox is default browser, but when I colapse list of web browsers, Firefox still is not on it (foto 1 and 2). More, if I open firefox it still ask me to set Firefox as default. I don`t know what more can I do, because reinstall of web browser doesn`t work too :(

Restart the system and check if the problem persists. If it persists, in Firefox go to Menu> Options> General. Uncheck the Always check if Firefox is the default browser. It has not been as standard? Repeat the first procedure that passed previously and restart the system.

Samuel, everythink is just like You write, but it not solve problem. I Uncheck the Always check if Firefox is the default browser, and I don`t have any comunicate about this when Firefox start. But if I go to Firefox options, I read that "Acutally Firefox is not a default Web Browser" as on photo. That is the problem.

The problem is that your Windows 10 not to recognize Firefox as default browser and there is no other way to have to stress that the procedure that you've been force this by making clear to the system that you want this application as standard. One thing you can try, but it's not guaranteed, is you create a new profile as explained in our tutorial.

Big thanks for help, but I do not understand why this is so, for several reasons. Earlier versions of Firefox easily lined up as the default. Only version 48 is not doing it. I use the computer as an administrator, so I do not have the any blockages. Maybe there is a way to entry code in the windows register ??

I just looked at your screenshot and I noticed two things you did not do: First tick the box underneath::   urchamianie then click on:   y staw jaks dom yslna See how this works  !
