Saving log in and password option is faded out. Only Master Password is offered. How do I get other option to be available?

I had accidentally set up a master password (MPW) and then deleted it. And tried to only have log in and password individually saved. Prior to setting up the Master Password it worked just fine. Upon setting up a MPW and then opting to delete it, the option to select Logon and Password had now become unavailable all together and only the MPW option is available to select. I have attempted to delete and uninstall the Mozilla and reinstalling it but that does not work either to enable Log on and password save.

Any suggestions to resolve this issue? Please help.

Any chance that you are using permanent Private Browsing?

IOW, do you have "Always use private browsing mode" in Privacy > History in Options selected?

If you aren't in permanent PB mode then there might be a problem with the logins.json and key3.db file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the names and passwords. You can rename/(re)move these files to test this.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
