Where do I find the "firefox" button?
To turn on the Do Not Track feature, the instructions say to "click on the 'firefox' button. Where is that?

Hi,
Are you using a version of Firefox that is at least w/in a year of being current? If so, the Firefox button is the big orange button at the top left of your screen. If you don't see it, you must have the "Menu bar" toolbar on (my guess, anyway). If so, just select the Tools menu, click Options, and then open up the Privacy tab.

You get the orange Firefox menu button when the Menu bar is hidden.
- Firefox menu button > Options
- View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
- Right-click empty toolbar area

Selecting the "do-not-track" setting will only make Firefox send a specific HTTP header ("Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked.": DNT=1) to a web server. It is up to the server to do something with that request.
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Tracking: "Tell web sites I do not want to be tracked"
- "Do not tell sites anything about my tracking preferences."
- "Tell sites that I want to be tracked." (DNT=0)
- "Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked." (DNT=1)
