Hello,

I'm from Facemoods. Below are instructions for removing facemoods. To remove Facemoods from your computer, go to the Control Panel in your start menu, then click on Add/Remove Programs, find Facemoods and click Remove.

As a Firefox user, you also need to remove the Facemoods Add-on. Go to Tools–>Add-ons in the Firefox toolbar menu and click to uninstall.

In Firefox – Tools –> Options –> General –> select your default homepage setting

If you get Facemoods from your Address bar search, we can send you an xpi file that will change your search to Google. Please contact us at [email protected]

Kindly,

Zoe The Facemoods Team

Hi - while Facemoods are nice enough to reply here, it should be widely known that their approach to software is nothing short of a disgrace. I rate my self as a reasonably savvy amateur PC user and downloaded GIMP for a trial. Facemoods then takes over the PC and new tabs and search is hijacked. This sort of behaviour should NOT be tolerated by Firefox, and I don't know who can actually explain to the company that in my view they are the single most SPAMMY intrusion I've had in nearly 7 years of PC usage. :(((((((((((((( I've just wasted an hour of my time getting to a point of removing them firefox and now have to reset search setting etc etc Somebody, please do something about them.

Arrogance, ruthelessness, untrustworthy. This is a hijack of an operating system and a browser. I am an enterprise network architect with a 39 year career in IT. This is a virus, no more, no less. There is serious lack of integrity in our business and folks like facemoods are the epitemy of such criminals that without conscious will force feed their product onto unaware consumers. I am sure they are well aware that the majority of PC's they INFECT, the majority of end-users are not capable of removing this VIRUS. Yes something ought to be done, this is a VIRUS. The fact that "somone from facebook" comes into these forums with seeming helpful instruction is ONLY a testiment that they have SUCCESSFULLY manipulated the UNINSTALL feature from your Microsoft Operating system that supposedly FAILS do to some error, this is a SINISTER act on the behalf of FACEMOODS. So even if you try to uninstall this program via control panel, it will most likely fail --- by design. FACEMOODS is a criminal application and someting should be done about them.

If you are using firefox: in the URL type in "about:config" no speech marks then in filter type "keyword.URL" again no speechmarks then it should have a long facemoods search url... change that to http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&tab=ww
