To be able to move my many mailboxes, i installed 'manually sort folders', useble from Tools menu. I have a lot of email addresses, i want those i use most frequently moved to the top. It is not a standard option to move folders in the folderpane, therefore i had to installed an addon. In the description the develloper stated it could be accessed from the 'Tools Menu'. Only problem: No Tools menu in 68.12.1 (32-bits).

Could there be some workaround?

Nope, just tried 68.12.1 with the Dutch language pack, and it's the same as on 78, under the Extra menu, not Help as in your picture.

Press Alt or F10 to bring up the menu bar.

I don't know what Tools is in Dutch. Check the menu items in the main menu bar.

I hope you are not insulted, i use thunderbird from the day it was born, somewhere around 1996. Or even in '95? Anyway, after the Netscape suite. The Dutch word for 'tools' is 'gereedschap'. You can believe me when i tell you that i searched every option in the menu, bar, and the 3 horizontal stripes in the right top corner. I would have loved the author had put the access in the 'extra' folder, or even in the add-on section. Now the add-on is completely useless, because the controls are put in a place that is not accessible. I only ask for help when i cannot figure out my self. Reason for the wrong picture attached in the first post: I never asked a question here.

Thank you for trying to help fixing my problem :-)

Just for 'fun', I added the Dutch language pack to TB 78 to see if the Manually sort folders options are shown. In the attached picture, you can see 'Mappen handmatig sorteren', and selecting it displays the add-on settings.

Yeah, well, in 78 might be, but in 68? Nah! (see image) Took a look at 78, not really my thing.. (yet) I however skipped the problem with a less elegant, but much simpeler solution, for now. (see image) It has to make things easier find, in this case new mail to, and replies from my accounts, wanted to try the add-on, do not get it to work, so find another solution that works too. Just not loose too much time.

Thanks sfhowes, for showing me the add-on works in 78. In the dutch language. ;-)

So, my question is not really solved, but my problem is, for now.

Well, over here, it isn't.

It might make a difference if you look under Extra in Thunderbird, not Firefox, as in your picture.

I removed the add-on, rebooted TB, re-added it, and look: Now it is there! Whattayaknow? Looks stupid, but believe me, i really looked very carefully at all the menu's, no entry there, none. So, question solved! Thanks a lot for your investigation in this matter, sfhowes! I will mark it solved! Hurray, one problem down, result in happy user.. :-D
