Clear browsing data manually

  1. Tap the menu button android menu icon
    Menu button - Template:menupreview
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete browsing data in the Privacy and security section.
  4. Select the types of data you want to delete:
    • Open Tabs
    • Browsing history and site data
    • Cookies and site data
    • Cached images and files
    • Site permissions
    • Downloads
  5. Tap Delete browsing data.

Delete a specific webpage from your browsing history

  1. Tap the menu button android menu icon

  2. Tap History.
  3. Tap the next to the entry you want to delete.

Delete several webpages from your browsing history

  1. Tap the menu button android menu icon

  2. Tap History.
  3. Long-tap one of the entries you want to delete.
  4. Tap the other entries you want to delete to select them.
  5. Tap on the three dots menu at the top of the page.
  6. Tap Delete to remove selected webpages.

Clear browsing data on exit

This option automatically deletes your browsing history every time you exit Firefox through the Quit option in the main menu.

  1. Tap the menu button android menu icon

  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete browsing data on quit in the Privacy and security section.
  4. Slide the switch for Delete browsing data on quit on.
  5. Choose the types of data you want to delete when you exit (open tabs, browsing history and site data, cookies and site data, cached images and files, site permissions and downloads).
  6. The Quit option will now appear in the Firefox menu (three dots). Use this to exit a browsing session, and then browsing data you selected will be deleted.
