You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).

You can also try different default fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced

Hey, Thanks for the help. I tried changing the fonts and it didn't help, also I think the font test shows that everything is fine.

So, you do not see any fonts bold that shouldn't be bold?

What are your current default font settings?

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size in case you need a larger font, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text.

Thanks again for your help! I tried changing the font size but it doesn't help and the font still looks like it is in bold. I will try to change the colors and see if that fixes it.

thanks

I tried changing the font size again and it helped somewhat although the font still seem to be bold, but I think I am going to leave as it is.

Thanks for the help :)
