Why does my Firefox always put a line at the top that says, "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page."?

This comes up nearly every time I click on a link to open another page... but the page does open; it's just that this line adds another unnecessary line at the top of my already shrinking window. Can I keep this from happening? I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing has stopped it from occurring. Thanks for your help.

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
